The game was pretty even from the start, but it was clear that FC Gavengers had assembled a more balanced team as compared to their counterparts. Every member knew their role, while FC Actionista were still playing the same gameplan and pivoting on Jlatan Yeo jin and Heckham He in.

Though FC Actionista were given a life line by scoring 2 wonderful set piece headers, the victory was well deserved by FC Gavengers who controlled the game from start to finish.

FC Gavengers

The good – they are a very balanced team from front to back. The positional switch to put Min Kyung as a striker and a target man was a master stroke from the manager. Newbie Hye Sun also known as the Red Hare will definitely be one to watch as her endless energy is similar to the forever captain Park Ji Sung. And a returning Oh Nami would provide the guile the team need to make it into the Super League

The Bad – Nothing much as they are a well balanced side and controlled the game from start to finish. Proper use of newbie Eun Hyeong will add a different dimension to the team especially if they can use her height as intended.

What can be improved – using Hare Hye Sun as an attacking output instead of a defensive unit would certainly create more difficulties for the opposition, especially those that have good team passes.

FC Actionista

The good – Much was expected from the team with imposing heights. But the team came away having to chase the game and did well to come back from a 2-0 deficit. Clearly, using Lee Hye Jung as an unstoppable attacking option would be key for them because of her height, standing at 181cm. Their undying spirit and many set-piece plays will serve them well.

The Bad – Honestly, a lot of it was bad. FC Actionista is too reliant on their set plays. Whilst varied, it leaves them limited. Players such as Jin Hee and Jae Hwa are the weakest links in the team. However, Jae Hwa has shown that defensively, she can be counted upon and with better positioning and being adapt at clearing safely would benefit her team. Jin Hee would be served better if she was trained properly to be a keeper. Her actions are still awkward and she is not fully utilizing her imposing figure. Yeo Jin’s insistence to take a shot from the center shot is speculative at this point unless she can be more precise with her shots.

What can be improved – everything. The passing plays between each player instead of long balls would create variety. Else, set-pieces can be improved with late runs into the box instead of standing in the box as their 2 goals from corners show. Set pieces can be deadly, and this team can
