With the final round of games starting this Sunday at 11pm in Singapore, all eyes will be on 2 key fixtures – Chelsea vs Wolves and Leicester vs Manchester United. A single point and goal difference separate the destinies of these 3 clubs. Wolves on the hand need a victory to ensure they qualify for Europa League as Tottenham Hotspurs, who will be away at crystal palace, are only a point behind them.

Chelsea who are in a patchy form in their last 3 games would be extremely concern with their defence that have been easy to beat. Conceding 9 goals in their last 3 games is signs of a defence that is there to be exploited and with the speed and power of Adama Traore and clinical finishing of Raul Jimenez can potentially see Chelsea who have been comfortably sitting in a Champions League slot slip out of it and into Europa League instead. It would be disappointing for Frank Lampard’s men who have surprisingly flew higher than what was expected at the start of the season seeing how Chelsea were carrying out a transfer ban. They would need to match to whatever result Manchester United can produce to ensure their place in the top 4.

The main highlight would be Leicester vs Manchester United. Leicester would need to win to have a chance of qualifying for the Champions League and this would set up for a tantalizing encounter as the ball is entirely in Man United’s court. A loss would not necessarily mean they are out of the Champions League thanks to their healthy goal difference of +28. But this is a clash between 2 teams that were sparkling at different parts of the season but have fizzled out in recent weeks. Can they find the spark to get themselves over the Champions League line?
